The Sensex is up 61.55 points or 0.15% at 40911.84, and the Nifty up 14.70 points or 0.12% at 12057.90.

ICICI Bank, RIL, Zee Ent, Tata Motors and UltraTech Cement are among major gainers on the Indices, while losers are Bharti Airtel, HDFC AMC, HUDCO, BPCL, Sun Pharma, Asian Paints and HDFC.

The Sensex Is Down 112.23 Points Or 0.28% At 40563.22, And The Nifty Down 35.60 Points

The Sensex is down 112.23 points or 0.28% at 40563.22, and the Nifty down 35.60 points or 0.30% at 11958.60. About 249 shares have advanced, 391 shares declined, and 31 shares are unchanged.

Bharti Infratel, ICICI Bank, TCS, Wipro, Tata Motors, HUL and Eicher Motors are among major gainers on the Indices, while losers are HCL Tech, JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Vedanta and Hindalco.

Among sectors, except IT all other indices are trading in red led by the metal, auto and infra.

Tata Motors Share Price Gained 6 Percent On December 4

Tata Motors share price gained 6 percent on December 4 after a double-digit growth in Land Rover lifted overall sales in the United States.

In November, Tata Motors' subsidiary and UK-based luxury carmaker Jaguar Land Rover sold 12,472 units in the US, an increase of 6.2 percent year-on-year.

It sold 11,744 units in the US during November 2018. On month-on-month basis, sales increased by 19.4 percent.

RBL Bank Share Price Declined Over 1 Percent Intraday

RBL Bank share price declined over 1 percent intraday on December 3 after the company launched the qualified institutional placement issue for subscription on December 2.

The Capital Raising Committee of the bank approved the floor price for the QIP at Rs 352.57 per equity share, at a 5.5 percent discount on Monday's closing price. 

"We will offer a discount of not more than 5 percent on the floor price," it said in a release on the exchange.

Asian shares skidded on Tuesday after US President Donald Trump stunned markets with tariffs against Brazil and Argentina, recharging fears about global trade tensions, while weak US factory data added to the investor gloom.

MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan was down 0.45% in early trade, with Australian shares dropping nearly 2%, on track for their worst day in two months. Japan’s Nikkei shed 1.1%.

Bajaj Auto November Sales Falls 1%, But Beat Analyst Estimates

Two and three wheeler maker Bajaj Auto announced sale of 4 lakh units in November 2019, lower by a 1 percent compared to total sales in same period last year. 

The month-on-month sales dropped 13 percent. Company sold 4.06 lakh units in November 2018; and 4.63 lakh units in October 2019 which was driven by festival season.

Domestic sales fell 12 percent year-on-year to 2.07 lakh units, but exports grew by 14 percent to 1.95 lakh units, the highest ever in a month, compared to year-ago month, company said in its BSE filing.
