Shares of Bharti Airtel climbed almost 3 percent on BSE on November 29 after reports emerged that the company has submitted bids for the assets of Reliance Communications.

A PTI report said Bharti Airtel has submitted conditional bids of around Rs 9,500 crore for debt-ridden Reliance Communications' telecom assets, including spectrum, mobile towers and optical fibre.

Along with Bharti Airtel, VFSI Holdings Pte Ltd and UV Asset Reconstruction Company Limited have submitted their bids.

The Share Price Of Coal India Gained Over A Percent In Early Trade On November 13

The share price of Coal India gained over a percent in early trade on November 13 after the company posted a 14 percent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 3,522.7 crore for the quarter ended September. Its net profit stood at Rs 3,084.54 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Coal India's total income, however, declined to Rs 22,012.94 crore in the July-September quarter of the financial year 2019-20 from Rs 23,486.35 crore in the corresponding period of previous fiscal.

Global research firm Citi has maintained a buy rating and has raised the target to Rs 270 from Rs 250 per share. However, it is of the view that volume weakness could persist for a few months.

DLF Share Price Gains 6% After MSCI Inclusion, Q2 Numbers

Shares of DLF added more than 6 percent in the morning trade on November 8 after the realtor found a place on the MSCI India Domestic Index. Morgan Stanley Capital International, in its semi-annual rebalancing of portfolio, has included the company in its India Domestic Index.

In the quarter ended September, the company posted 19 percent jump in its net profit at Rs 445.9 crore versus Rs 374.4 crore in the same quarter last fiscal. The company revenue was down 19.8 percent at Rs 1,715.5 crore versus Rs 2,139 crore.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation were down 46.9 percent at Rs 350.3 crore against Rs 659.3 crore, while the margin was down at 20.4 percent versus 30.8 percent, YoY.

State Bank Of India Has Lowered Lending Rates Resulting Loans

State Bank of India has lowered lending rates resulting loans to get cheaper. The bank has cut its MCLR by 5 basis points across all tenors, its seventh consecutive cut in borrowing rates in FY 2019-20.

The bank's one-year MCLR will be 8.0 percent per annum, with effect from November 10, 2019 and has also cut its FD rates by 15 basis points for deposits for one year to less than two years maturity.

State Bank of India has also slashed bulk deposit rates by 30-75 bps across tenors citing adequate liquidity in the system for lowering FD rates.

Lupin Share Price Falls 3% Post Q2 Loss; CLSA Retains Sell

Shares of private lender Yes Bank rose nearly 9 percent in the early trade on November 5 after Rakesh Jhunjhunwala bought stake in the company via open market transactions. 

Ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala bought 1.29 crore shares in private lender on November 4 through open market transactions.

Maruti Suzuki October Sales Increase 4.5 Percent YoY To 1.53 Lakh Units

Maruti Suzuki registered a 4.5 percent growth year-on-year in October sales led by compact, UV segments while the month-on-month growth was pretty high at 25.4 percent driven by festive season and heavy discounts. 

Company sold 1.53 lakh units during the month against 1.46 lakh units sold in same month last year, which was lower than Nomura expectation of 1.7 lakh units.

Maruti said domestic sales in October grew by 4.5 percent year-on-year to 1.44 lakh units and exports increased 5.7 percent YoY to 9,158 units. Passenger car sales at 1.06 lakh units increased 4.4 percent year-on-year.
